Andersen Expands 100 Series Product Line to Include Double-Hung Window Option

The new double-hung option blends traditional practicality with modern performance, with upper and lower sashes that open to provide more ventilation and versatility.

Andersen Windows, the manufacturer of America’s most trusted brand of windows and doors*, is pleased to introduce the 100 Series double-hung window, the latest addition to its fastest growing product range.

This new addition demonstrates Andersen’s dedication to providing high-quality window solutions that combine style, strength, and affordability. The new double-hung option blends traditional practicality with modern performance, with upper and lower sashes that open to provide more ventilation and versatility.

The 100 Series product range is made of Andersen’s unique Fibrex composite material, which is twice as robust as vinyl and contains 40% recovered wood fiber by weight. With over 10 million windows sold, 100 Series windows and doors are a popular choice for homeowners and builders. Jessica Ehrlichmann, vice president and general manager of Andersen windows and doors, explains that double-hung windows are popular in the residential market due to their excellent ventilation, ease of cleaning, and compatibility with various architectural styles. “We’ve always been committed to evolving our offerings in response to consumer demand and this expanded option in the 100 Series product line reflects that commitment, delivering greater choice when choosing the durability and energy efficiency that comes along with our Fibrex material.”

The Andersen 100 Series double-hung window is now available through select dealers and The Home Depot stores. To discover more about the Andersen 100 Series double-hung window and its availability, go to AndersenWindows.com.

Evolution of the 100 Series Product Line

Since its introduction in 2008, the Andersen 100 Series product line has become a staple of the company’s product portfolio, catering to the needs of a diverse spectrum of clients. Andersen has consistently invested in its product range, increasing its offers and capabilities to meet changing client preferences and market expectations.

    Notable milestones include:

    • 2025: Andersen celebrates the creation of its ten millionth 100 Series window, a significant milestone for one of its fastest-growing product categories.
    • 2023: A new Flush Fin replacement frame was introduced, primarily for stucco homes in the southwestern market. This integrated fin enables for easy installation over existing frames without harming the exterior.
    • 2018 and 2020: To meet rising demand, Andersen invested on significant manufacturing expansions. In 2018, a $40 million, 60,000-square-foot extension to the Bayport facility expanded Fibrex material extrusion capabilities and produced over 40 full-time positions. In 2020, Andersen completed construction on a 500,000-square-foot facility in Goodyear, Arizona, creating over 415 new jobs and greatly increasing manufacturing and distribution capacity for the 100 Series product line in the western United States.
