DEWALT Sets New Benchmark in its Cordless Cut Capacity with Release of the 20V MAX* XR 12-In. Double Bevel Sliding Miter Saw

Double Bevel Sliding Miter Saw (DCS785) is the standout among DEWALT’s latest offerings, setting a new standard for cordless cut capacity.

DEWALT, a Stanley Black & Decker brand and a leader in entire jobsite solutions, has introduced new carpentry solutions for residential applications in both its power and hand tool categories. The 20V MAX* XR 12-In. Double Bevel Sliding Miter Saw (DCS785) is the standout among DEWALT’s latest offerings, setting a new standard for cordless cut capacity.

The new DEWALT carpentry solutions include:

• 20V MAX* XR 12-Inch Double Bevel Sliding Miter Saw

• • The 20V MAX* XR 12-In. Double Bevel Sliding Miter Saw (DCS785) has DEWALT’s highest cut capacity in the 20V Max* cordless miter saw lineup. This is DEWALT’s first 12-inch 20V Max* miter saw that works with the whole line of 20V MAX* and DEWALT FLEXVOLT batteries (sold separately)**.
  • This saw can make up to 371 cuts in 3 ¼-In. MDF Base Molding and up to 153 cuts in pressure treated 4-In. X 4-In. timber***. It includes Cut.Capture.Charge, a regenerative brake technique that optimizes runtime and efficiency through a bevel gear transmission.
  • The saw improves labor efficiency by catching up to 97% of dust1 during use, reducing cleanup time, and it includes Wireless Tool Control, which allows vacuum control with a single pull of the trigger.
  • The DCS785 is now available anywhere DEWALT products are sold.
• 20V MAX* XR 10-Inch Double Bevel Fixed Miter Saw.
  • The 20V MAX* XR 10-In. Double Bevel Fixed Miter Saw (DCS714) is DEWALT’s most powerful 20V MAX* compact miter saw2 and the first 10-In. miter saw that works with the full 20V MAX* and DEWALT FLEXVOLT battery line (available separately)**.
  • This saw features Cut.Capture.Charge regenerative braking technology provides up to 434 cuts in 3 ¼-In. MDF Base Molding** and captures up to 97% dust during use3.
  • The DCS714 will be available in May, wherever DEWALT products are sold.
• New DEWALT XR Drill Driver and Hammer Drill.
  • The DEWALT XR system is further expanded by the 20V MAX* XR Brushless Cordless 1/2-In. Drill/Driver (DCD801) and 20V MAX* XR Brushless Cordless 1/2-In. Hammer Drill (DCD806), DEWALT’s most powerful 20V MAX* 2-speed drill/driver and 20V* Max 2-speed hammer drill3.
  • Each of these includes the DEWALT ANTI-ROTATION System, which detects excessive rotational motion and shuts down the tool.
  • Both models will be available in May, wherever DEWALT products are sold.
• DEWALT’s Latest Lasers and Chalk Reels
• DEWALT also introduced many new lasers and chalk reels, including:
• DEWALT 200-ft. Laser Distance Measurers: Calculate complex measurements with ±1/16-In. precision at 32-Ft. and a range of 200-Ft. Available in lithium-ion and alkaline variants (DWHT78200 and DWHT77200) in June and September, respectively.
• DEWALT Chalk Reels: A new lineup of chalk reels and kits to meet a variety of purposes will be available in May, including:
