GuD, based on patented quadratic residue optimization, reduces low-frequency absorption below the cutoff limit, resulting in a more than 250% boost in scattering performance over typical QRD solutions.
RealAcoustix, a Catalyst Acoustics Group trademark, has announced the official launch of its GuD (Geometric Uniform Diffuser) range, which includes four products that improve diffuser performance while increasing design and installation flexibility in wall-mounted and ceiling-integrated applications.
GuD, based on patented quadratic residue optimization, reduces low-frequency absorption below the cutoff limit, resulting in a more than 250% boost in scattering performance over typical QRD solutions.
“The GuD family delivers exceptional performance across multiple form factors, giving our partners flexibility and confidence to solve complex acoustic challenges in virtually any space,” stated RealAcoustix’s Director of Sales, Ben Hickey. “Designers no longer have to choose between performance, aesthetics, or installation constraints.”
The GuD line includes the following:
Gud Standard – Our flagship diffuser, available in hardwood or painted MDF, provides market-leading scattering performance in a refined architectural design.
GuD Drop Ceiling Tile (DCT) – A proprietary drop-ceiling solution available in 2×2 and 2×4 sizes to fit standard ceiling grids.
GuD PX – is a lightweight, high-performance diffuser that fits standard 2×2 ceiling grids and allows for easier installation without losing performance.
GuD PXR – The most recent generation of Asymmetrical Cellular Acoustic Diffuser (ACAD) technology, combining distinctive aesthetics with powerful diffusion in ceiling applications.
