Digger Specialties Inc. (DSI) now offers property owners a choice of two Westbury aluminum cable railing systems, horizontal Bella Cavo and vertical VertiCable, for decks, patios, balconies, terraces and stairways, LBM Journal reported on Oct. 15, 2026.
According to DSI, demand for cable railing keeps growing on decks, patios, balconies and terraces, and on stairways both indoors and out. Its thin infill cables provide wide open views of the surrounding landscape. The two systems are part of DSI’s aluminum railing line of eight systems and 22 design options.
Westbury Bella Cavo railing uses thin stainless-steel cables framed by durable aluminum posts. It comes in 4-, 6- and 8-foot sections in 36- or 42-inch heights, with matching adjustable 36- and 48-inch-wide gates. DSI says Bella Cavo includes labor-saving installation features that lower installed costs.
Westbury VertiCable, introduced in 2015, combines aluminum rails and posts with thin vertical stainless-steel cable infills spaced 3 inches apart, which DSI says adds a measure of safety for pets and children. Sections come in 36- and 42-inch heights and 4-, 5-, 6-, 7- and 8-foot lengths, with matching single or double gates. VertiCable ships in pre-assembled sections, which DSI says result in significant labor savings compared with most cable railing systems.
Both systems come in 12 colors with textured or non-textured surfaces. DSI finishes Westbury railing with a proprietary 10-step AAMA 2604 powder coating process and backs both systems with its lifetime limited warranty.
