Therma-Tru Moves Into Storm Doors With the New Passage Collection

Therma-Tru Doors has launched Passage, its first storm door line, expanding the company’s Complete Door System so pros can source the full entryway from one brand.

The Complete Door System already pairs Therma-Tru entry doors with matching components. Passage adds the protective outer door from the same manufacturer, simplifying ordering and specification for dealers, builders and remodelers.

“Entering the storm door category is a natural next step for Therma-Tru,” said Kevin Fein, general manager of Fortune Brands Outdoors. “Therma-Tru has long been a trusted entry door brand among building professionals, and the Passage collection allows us to bring that same craftsmanship, durability and value to the storm door category—offering a single, trusted source for the entire entryway.”

The line spans six styles in three tiers. Passage Core is the entry-level highview design in white, almond, sandstone or brown, with a 10-year limited warranty. Passage Plus moves to a midview design in heavy-duty aluminum, with adjustable vents, white or brown frames, and a lifetime limited warranty.

Passage Premier sits at the top with one midview style and three fullview styles, all in heavy-duty aluminum with dual weatherstripping and a lifetime limited warranty. Options include a retractable screen, interchangeable screen and glass panels, and internal blinds. Handlesets come in brushed nickel, brass or antique bronze. Frame colors include white plus select black, almond and brown.

Key features:

  • Six storm door styles across Core, Plus and Premier tiers
  • Highview, midview and fullview designs
  • Heavy-duty aluminum construction on Plus and Premier
  • Dual weatherstripping and lifetime limited warranty on Premier
  • Options for retractable screens, interchangeable screen and glass, and internal blinds
  • Handlesets in brushed nickel, brass or antique bronze
