Deltec Homes introduced 360° Elements on Oct. 28, 2026, a line of five predesigned hurricane-resistant homes that pair the Asheville, N.C., company’s round living space with rectangular wings for more traditional room layouts.
Deltec positions 360° Elements, like its best-selling 360° Signature line, as a quicker, simpler and less costly route to a hurricane-resilient home than a fully custom build. The line is available in all 50 states and the Caribbean.
In each home, the round living area relies on Deltec’s radial structural system, backed by high-strength materials and strong connections. The standard structural shell is rated for winds up to 130 mph, and depending on design and location, buyers can upgrade it to as much as 190 mph.
Deltec manufactures 360° Elements homes in Asheville using its panelized building system. The company says the homes are designed for energy efficiency as well as strength.
The five models are Mesa, Grove, Summit, Headland and Crest. Floor plans include options for entries, private suites, extra bedrooms and attached garages.
At the center of each home is an open round living space with vaulted ceilings and windows that follow the curve. The rectangular wings add space and flexibility. Deltec based the line on one of its most requested custom home styles.
“People are drawn to Deltec homes not just for their resilience, but for how they feel—the light, the openness, and the way the views become part of everyday life,” said Meg Gore, CEO of Deltec Homes. “With 360° Elements, we’re making that experience work for even more people. The wings give homeowners additional flexibility for the spaces they use every day, while the round living area remains at the heart of the home.”
Deltec reports a documented 99.9% survival rate for the round homes it has built over the past three decades, including homes that took direct hits from Hurricanes Andrew, Katrina, Michael, Dorian and Ian. The company also notes that Hurricane Helene’s damage in Asheville in 2024 showed that hurricane impacts can reach far inland.
