Gearwrench Launches New Shop Equipment Products to Include Jack Stands, Floor Jacks, Bottle Jacks and Bench Vises

GEARWRENCH is fast increasing its shop equipment product portfolio, announcing the release of two new Floor Jacks and four new Jack Stands, which are now accessible to professional automotive mechanics. In addition, three Bench Vise models and three Bottle Jack products will be available in early 2024.

“The voice of the customer is at the center of all that we do at GEARWRENCH. While conducting research with professional technicians, we heard three consistent pain points: shop equipment needs to be safe with testing and standards to back it up, needs to be user friendly and operate efficiently, and needs to withstand the harsh environment of the shop,” Kevin Kelly, Product Manager, stated. “GEARWRENCH Shop Equipment not only hits all three of those pain points, but they offer innovation in maximizing productivity and increasing safety. All GEARWRENCH lifting products meet ASME PASE 2019 standard to ensure the highest product quality and performance.”

The GEARWRENCH Floor Jacks, with their heavy-duty all-steel structure, maximize automobile technicians’ efficiency and are built to withstand the abuse of any garage. Both the 3 Ton Heavy Duty and 3.5 Ton Low Profile models of Floor Jacks have a two piston rapid pump construction and a shielded handle with foam bumper and end cap to avoid vehicle damage. These floor jacks also include a protective rubber saddle to offer grip and avoid car chassis damage.

The GEARWRENCH Jack Stands will be offered in 2 Ton, 3 Ton, 6 Ton, and 12 Ton capacities, with a heavy-duty all-steel construction. The Jack Stands have an adjustable ratcheting bar that secures in place with a double lock pin, preventing inadvertent height modifications during usage. All four items include a wide saddle to provide greater grip and a bigger surface area of contact with cars, as well as high strength welded feet to distribute the load over larger surfaces and increase stability.

The Bottle Jacks have a big, high-grip saddle with a 40% larger diameter, grooved design, and textured grip coating for added bite and stability when lifting vehicles. These are intended for mobile automobile technicians and have built-in handle storage to keep the handles from becoming lost or forgotten during storage or travel. The handles are knurled for a secure grip in all situations, and they have a lock pin that secures and locks the handle ends together for easy operation. Finally, the broad textured foundation provides strength and stability.

GEARWRENCH has introduced three new Bench Vise models, with jaw widths and openings of 4″, 6″, and 8″. These models have a high leverage spindle, a fully enclosed slide bar that keeps interior components sealed and lubricated, a 360° swivel base with two lockdown clamps, and a large, heavy-duty anvil. The heat-treated flat jaws are serrated and hardened for excellent grip and clamp force, and they also have pipe jaws for working on pipes.

Each new GEARWRENCH Shop Equipment Lifting product is designed and tested to satisfy the ASME PASE 2019 standard. The standard covers the design, construction, marking, operation, maintenance, end-user instructions, and operation of portable automobile servicing equipment.
