Made-to-order Dekton panels bring a continuous stone look to select JennAir refrigeration and wine columns.
JennAir and Cosentino have launched the JennAir x Dekton panel collection, made-to-order Dekton surface panels for select JennAir refrigeration and wine columns. The panels let designers and homeowners carry one stone look across countertops, cabinetry, and appliances.
The collection uses the 4mm slim format of Dekton, Cosentino’s carbon-neutral ultracompact surface. The panels are engineered to match JennAir panel-ready refrigeration weight tolerances, handle drilling, and panel hanging requirements. According to the companies, Dekton resists stains, scratches, and heat. Each panel is custom-made by Chicago stone fabricator and installer GI Stone to fit the specific design of the order.
“When you think of your beautiful countertop that moves up the wall as a backsplash, why not elevate your appliances with that same look and feel?” said Brittni Pertijs, Lead Designer of Color, Material, and Finish at JennAir. “Appliances shouldn’t feel like cold machines or in-the-way, they should be part of the overall design and support the look the designer and homeowner is going for.”
“Dekton can be produced in a slim format without compromising its performance, allowing the surface to be placed on the hinges, which is a complex process,” said Valentin Tijeras, VP Global Product, R&D + Quality at Cosentino. “It’s a clear example of how advances in material innovation can expand cladding application versatility in design.”
The initial launch offers five Dekton finishes. Panels are available to order now through local luxury appliance dealers; Cosentino showrooms and jennair.com offer more details. Lead time currently runs about 12 to 14 weeks after an order is confirmed, depending on component availability. An undercounter option is planned for later in 2026.
