Three new Aoraki indoor configurations give contractors ENERGY STAR heat pump options for varied light commercial layouts.
TOSOT Direct has launched three Aoraki light commercial indoor configurations: Floor/Ceiling, Concealed Ducted, and Ceiling Cassette. The options let contractors match ENERGY STAR certified heat pump systems to a wider range of commercial floor plans.
The Aoraki systems, announced in Las Vegas, use R32 refrigerant. TOSOT says they cool in ambient temperatures up to 140 degrees F and heat in temperatures as low as minus 40 degrees F.
Floor/Ceiling models come in 18K and 24K capacities and support height differences up to 82 feet. Concealed Ducted units, also in 18K and 24K, handle external static pressure up to 200 Pa and piping runs up to 131.2 feet. Ceiling Cassette models range from 9K to 24K, reach up to 24 SEER2, and include a condensate pump. The systems were listed as available in early September 2026 at TOSOTDirect.com.
“Commercial spaces are rarely designed the same way, so the HVAC system needs to work with the space, not against it,” said Perry C., product developer at TOSOT. “By offering floor/ceiling, concealed ducted, and ceiling cassette options, contractors have more freedom to choose the installation that makes the most sense for each project.”
