FORT Robotics Launches Wireless E-Stop Pro: Real-Time Wireless Safety for Complex Industrial Environments

With the Wireless E-Stop Pro, we’ve eliminated the compromise between risk and throughput.

FORT Robotics, a pioneer in safe robot and mobile machine control, announced the introduction of the Wireless E-Stop Pro. The safety-certified wearable gadget is intended to reduce mishaps and increase uptime in contemporary machine workplaces across the globe.

Legacy safety solutions, such fixed emergency stop buttons, are becoming less effective as firms implement more mobile and autonomous devices throughout their operations. “Safety shouldn’t be a restraint on productivity; it should be the catalyst for it,” says Amod Damle, Head of Product at FORT, who brings extensive industry experience from Fetch Robotics and Cisco. The Wireless E-Stop Pro puts fail-safe control directly in the operator’s hand by enabling users to send a certified stop command to a machine from up to 200m away, ensuring that safety moves at the speed of the modern jobsite. “With the Wireless E-Stop Pro, we’ve eliminated the compromise between risk and throughput,” says Damle. Whether worn as a wearable or set up for a special setting, the goal is to provide consumers complete peace of mind. By granting operators the freedom to operate at maximum speed and the ability to completely control their workflows, we are revolutionizing the human-machine interaction.

Next-Generation Safety for Challenging Environments

The Wireless E-Stop Pro advances FORT’s industry-standard technology to satisfy the needs of contemporary workplaces and worldwide distribution:

  • Built for Dense Radio Environments: The Pro model, which has sophisticated Long-Range Bluetooth connections, is designed to keep a strong connection even in plants and warehouses where there are many competing radio signals. Because of this, customers can run several systems at once with little chance of signal drops.
  • Built for Dense Radio Environments: OEMs can more easily deploy a single equipment across several nations thanks to globally compatible Bluetooth connection. Additionally, the product has regulatory certifications for use in Australia, Japan, Canada, Europe, and the United States.
  • Safety Integrity: According to IEC 61508, the Pro model has third-party certification to Safety Integrity Level (SIL) 3. For mission-critical operations, this stringent certification guarantees high levels of verified safety and dependability.
  • Reliable Control in Any Condition: Combines a robust IP65-rated casing with a 200-meter wireless range for dependable performance in challenging conditions. Operators receive immediate, highly visible feedback on the connectivity and health of the system through an integrated status monitor.

The FORT Pro Series, an ecosystem of control solutions intended to expedite the safe adoption of smart machines, now includes the Wireless E-Stop Pro. It can be used in conjunction with the Safe Remote Control Pro and the FORT Manager cloud application for device management and configuration. It connects with FORT’s Endpoint Controller receiver.
