Sherle Wagner Unveils Handcrafted Sierra Collection

Inspired by the dramatic landscapes of the American West, the line features a distinctive hammered texture developed through laborious hand processes at the brand’s Fall River, MA foundry and workshop.

Sherle Wagner International, the makers of functional art for the home, has launched the Sierra Collection, a new line of luxury bath fittings, accessories, and door and cabinet hardware. Inspired by the dramatic landscapes of the American West, the line features a distinctive hammered texture developed through laborious hand processes at the brand’s Fall River, MA foundry and workshop. This textural surface, available in nineteen metal finishes, experiments with light and shadow, resulting in an organic yet unexpected look.

Visit Sherle Wagner’s website to learn more about the Sierra Collection and its distinctive style. Explore the complete spectrum of finishes and design options available to give your home a genuinely customized look.

The brand was started 80 years ago by Sherle Wagner, the renowned designer who transformed the approach to the bath through “the elevation of the mundane.” The Sherle Wagner studio’s talented artisans use centuries-old processes to create handcrafted, museum-quality art for the home, trying to meet the founder’s rigorous standards.

“The challenge in our development of the intricately hammered design goes beyond visual inspiration from the West,” noted Marissa Geoffroy, chief creative officer and Sherle Wagner’s granddaughter. “It is our homage to early metallurgy techniques, making the collection a celebration of both nature and human ingenuity.”

The Sierra Collection is designed by Creative Director Marissa Geoffroy, Sherle Wagner’s granddaughter, as a modern rendition of early metallurgical techniques. The collection’s pared-down design results in a remarkable amount of textural relief; the surface’s highs and lows are dramatic and tactilely appealing. This level of detail is made possible by Sherle Wagner’s dedication to handcrafted procedures and highly personalized manufacture.

The collection’s adaptability makes it appropriate for a variety of contexts. The Sierra Collection’s simple lines compliment a variety of architectural types, whether it’s a rustic ranch, a snug ski lodge, or a contemporary city home. Its organic, rustic appearance gives a sense of natural beauty to any setting. The nineteen various metal treatments allow for extensive personalization, ensuring that the series blends smoothly with any existing décor.

    Sierra Collection offers:

A unique hammered texture inspired by the American West.

Nineteen metal finish possibilities allow for varied personalization.

High-quality solid brass construction ensures long-lasting sturdiness.

A distinct textured surface that reacts well with light and shadow.

Handcrafted details that depict early metallurgical methods.

The Sierra Collection provides a one-of-a-kind and long-lasting option to individuals looking to add a touch of handcrafted beauty and Western-inspired style to their homes. Sherle Wagner International, founded in 1945, has been the leading supplier of architectural hardware, fixtures, and other products. Sherle Wagner’s early designs featured historical motifs. Sherle Wagner made substantial contributions to Modernism in the decades that followed, creating completely individual works. Over time, the brand’s style evolved, and its catalog currently includes a diverse range of collections spanning many eras and aesthetics.

Sherle Wagner International continues to introduce new designs while keeping a strict adherence to material and structure. Touching a Sherle Wagner item means knowing its quality. The Sierra Collection is no exception; its solid brass construction lends a hefty hand feel that carries through every finish.
