The Genie Company, a leading provider of smart, connected garage door openers and accessories for residential and commercial applications, is pleased to introduce its new Z-Series medium-duty commercial operators, medium-duty hoist, jackshaft, and trolley.
All models in the new Z-Series medium-duty line combine innovative functionality and a strong mechanical design to set a new industry standard. These feature enhancements include:
EZ Limit – Push-to-set limitations that replace the mechanical limit system with a thumb wheel.
Disc Brake – This includes the latest heavy-duty line’s 24 VDC disc brake.
Upgraded Trolley Rail – The 2″ angle and quiet carriage currently used on heavy-duty trolley operators will be used in the future.
Quiet operation is enabled by a new quiet through-shaft motor with dual ball bearings and an isolated electric box.
In addition, to enhance performance, the Z-Series units are rated for 15 cycles per hour and incorporate an inbuilt Intellicode receiver capable of learning and storing up to fifty transmitters.
