BEGA Connect provides straightforward remote access and full system control for outside architectural lighting, eliminating the need for a local server or complex IT infrastructure.
BEGA North America has announced the debut of BEGA Connect, a powerful new architectural lighting management system that brings cloud-based, Narrowband IoT-enabled lighting control to outdoor lighting projects of all sizes.
BEGA Connect provides straightforward remote access and full system control for outside architectural lighting, eliminating the need for a local server or complex IT infrastructure. The platform’s design prioritizes simplicity, dependability, and adaptability.
BEGA Connect enables lighting specialists and facility administrators to:
- Monitor and control installations from anywhere. The BEGA Connect app allows you to commission, configure, and monitor your lighting system from your smartphone, tablet, or web browser.
- Leverage DALI and IoT integration. The DALI Connector connects current DALI-2 systems to the cloud, while the Air Connectors allow you to reach faraway installations via Narrowband IoT, even if there is no local network available.
- Build a cohesive, scalable control system. BEGA has embraced an open protocol based on existing DALI-2 and Zhaga Book 18 Ed. 3.0 principles, allowing products from many manufacturers to work together flawlessly.
- Eliminate continuing fees. BEGA Connect requires only an upfront hardware expenditure and has no recurring license or runtime fees.
- Rely on a secure, cloud-based infrastructure. BEGA’s Director of Sales, Lee Warren, describes lighting as an intrinsic part of design, with data stored on cloud servers in Germany that follow strict European data protection regulations. BEGA Connect brings that vision to life. The platform allows lighting to respond, adapt, and integrate seamlessly with architectural and landscape design.
From small outside facades to large-scale landmark lighting projects, BEGA Connect streamlines the process while giving lighting designers, electrical engineers, and facilities teams complete control.
BEGA Connect is now available for architectural lighting applications. BEGA Connect professionals are available to provide help on system specification, integration, and project planning. For additional information, please contact your local BEGA agent or visit connect.bega.com/en-us.
