Crate & Barrel Holdings (CBH) launched its first wallcoverings on Oct. 7, 2026, offering exclusive in-house designs manufactured by York Wallcoverings online only at Crate & Barrel, Crate & Barrel Kids and CB2.
The new category marks the Chicago company’s first venture into wallcoverings. York Wallcoverings, which CBH describes as the oldest and largest wallpaper mill in the United States, manufactures the collections using advanced printing techniques, premium fibers and technical execution to maintain the quality standard of CBH’s brands.
The patterns mirror hand-painted artwork and are designed in-house to complement existing Crate & Barrel, Crate & Barrel Kids and CB2 products. The category covers rooms from the nursery to the living room.
“Bringing wallcoverings into our portfolio was a natural next step for our brands that embodies Design with Purpose,” said Alicia Waters, Brand President, Crate & Barrel and Crate & Barrel Kids. “We are thrilled this new category launch spans across every room of the home – offering beautiful, exclusive wallpaper for the family room, bedroom, powder room, kids’ room, and beyond. It’s something our customers have been asking for, as it takes the beauty of their spaces to a whole new level.”
“Wallcoverings give us an exciting new medium to transform any space,” said Ryan Turf, President of CB2. “With over 45 exclusive designer prints and colorways – ranging from subtle textured neutrals to bold, graphic patterns – this collection delivers the signature craftsmanship and elevated design our customers expect, making it effortless to bring real personality to every room.”
