Tarkett has expanded its soft-surface portfolio with Living Contours, a carpet collection designed with senior living spaces in mind, offered in six styles and nine colorways across three carpet formats.
The new collection takes its cues from the patterns that wind, water and time slowly leave on the land.
Specifiers can order any of the six patterns in nine colors as Powerbond hybrid carpet, ethos carpet tile or Flex-Aire cushion carpet tile. All six are built to last, resist stains permanently and feel comfortable underfoot.
“Movement within nature leaves behind contours that define surface and form. Wind traces the land, water carves gentle paths. These markings evolve, layer by layer, creating patterns that feel both fluid and grounded,” said Omoleye Simmons, vice president of design for Tarkett North America. “Each pattern in Living Contours reflects the subtle geometry of shifting terrain lines that bend, converge and disperse. Texture and tonal variation build through accumulation. Shapes emerge through repetition.”
The six styles
- Ridge Veil: softened geometry and layered depth for spaces that feel grounded, calm and cohesive.
- Canopy Thread: abstract forms that drift across the surface with a quiet rhythm.
- Fernmark: a finely articulated zigzag that creates a layered, feathered texture.
- Stone Current: moss-like surfaces with a subtle circular flow.
- Mossline: interconnected forms that shift gently in scale and spacing.
- Juniper Trace: evenly spaced accents over a textured underlayer.
Designers can personalize the palette through Tarkett’s Carpet Recoloring Studio, part of the Tailored by Tarkett visualizer suite. The free online platform lets designers explore layouts, save swatches and find coordinating wall bases.
The collection joins the Tarkett Solution SPECtrum, the company’s lineup of flooring, accessories and custom options.
