TDIndustries Launches BrightBlue Smart Buildings Solution

BrightBlue, automated fault detection and diagnostics solution from TDIndustries, optimizes the reliability and performance of commercial building systems to save energy and resources, ensure consistent occupant comfort, and extend equipment life.

“In recognizing our customers’ growing demand for data-driven building operations solutions, we’re adding smart building capabilities to our proven Building Automation and Controls, Service and Facilities and new construction offerings throughout the Southwest,” CEO Harold MacDowell says.

BrightBlue gives building operations teams a way to:

Connect and collect data from a building’s central plant and HVAC systems, as well as meters, sensors, and the Building Automation System.

Simulate and model equipment operations. A customizable dashboard displays real-time performance data.
Continuously analyze and diagnose to improve efficiencies and performance.

Prioritize and implement data-driven decisions to address comfort, energy usage, and equipment reliability in order to best serve the goals of organizations.

BrightBlue is used by TDIndustries in a variety of industries, including schools and universities, health care facilities, data centers, and office buildings.

It’s compatible with a variety of software platforms and critical equipment systems, and it’s backed by TD’s 75+ years of engineering, construction, technology, and building operations experience.

BrightBlue detected 62 diagnostic faults in the first three months of implementation for a higher education customer.

The system will save the organization an estimated $84,000 per year in energy costs with low or no-cost solutions, among other benefits.

“TD values its longstanding relationships with building owners and other customers, and the customizable BrightBlue smart buildings solution is a direct result of listening to and addressing our client’s needs with innovative, data-driven solutions,” MacDowell continues.
