Hilti North America, a global leader in innovative tools, technology, software, and services for the commercial construction industry, today announced the expansion of the Nuron cordless portfolio with more than 60 heavy-duty tools and accessories designed to boost jobsite productivity like never before. These new advancements add on the nearly 100 battery-operated tools released with the Nuron cordless platform’s introduction in 2022, making a completely cordless tool crib more accessible than ever.
Heavy Duty Reimagined
Hilti’s latest Nuron battery-powered heavy-duty tools, deliver performance comparable to corded equivalents. The new B 290-22 battery, built exclusively for heavy-duty applications, increases jobsite efficiency by up to 25% thanks to its maximum power, extended runtime, and faster charging capabilities. As part of the Nuron platform, these products enable contractors to expand their Hilti lineup without having to switch power systems.
Hilti’s new technologies, which focus on core building construction trades, include applications such as breaking, coring, concrete cutting, metal cutting and grinding, wood cutting, and soil compaction. Nuron’s portfolio has expanded with the following additions:
- SCN 60-22 Cordless chainsaw: Designed for tough timber demolition and developed with a fast chain speed for clean cuts.

The B 290-22 battery is compatible with all Nuron tools and chargers, providing unrestricted heavy-duty performance and bridging the gap between mid/light-duty and heavy-duty tools.
