Northern Tool + Equipment has released a limited-edition Klutch Welding Helmet designed by Dave Perewitz, the King of Flames himself.
Northern Tool + Equipment fans voted on the Patriot design from Perewitz for the helmet.
“We’re thrilled to highlight Dave’s artistic talent on our Klutch helmet,” says Jeff Land, Vice President of Merchandising for Northern Tool + Equipment. “This ongoing contest is a great way to learn what designs resonate with our customers.”
In February 2023, the retailer held a public vote to determine which of three one-of-a-kind Perewitz designs should be made into the limited-edition Klutch Welding Helmet. This is the first in a five-part sweepstakes series. This winter, the public will have another chance to vote on three more original designs. Garret Livingston, Ashley Alexander, and Ron Fleenor, winners of the 2023 Perewitz Paint Show, will create the three custom designs.
“It was an honor to design the first helmet for Northern Tool + Equipment’s sweepstakes. Now, the next generation of artists get to usher in the 2nd Klutch Helmet Sweepstakes. I’m excited to see what they come up with,” Perewitz, the owner of Perewitz Cycle Fab and a self-taught mechanic and fabricator, explained.
The Patriot, the first winning helmet, is now available in very limited quantities in stores. Check with your local Northern Tool + Equipment store for availability.
