DEWALT, a Stanley Black & Decker trademark and a leader in entire worksite solutions, has introduced the TOUGHSYSTEM 2.0 DXL, the industry’s first 30 in. modular storage system with a functioning workstation that is readily transportable and constructed to endure harsh jobsite conditions.
The TOUGHSYSTEM 2.0 DXL portfolio now includes four 30-inch products: a worktop, a deep drawer unit, a two-drawer unit, and a dolly. All elements are simply customizable, compatible with existing TOUGHSYSTEM 2.0 products, and fit beneath the majority of truck covers, allowing customers to operate comfortably from their truck beds. TOUGHSYSTEM 2.0 modules can be linked and stacked from the top or bottom of TOUGHSYSTEM 2.0 DXL Drawers via unique auto-connect front locks.

TOUGHSYSTEM 2.0 DXL has additional functions, including:
- TOUGHSYSTEM 2.0 DXL 30-inch Worktop (DWST08550): Provides a flat, robust, multi-purpose worksurface with five integrated slots for hanging tools and two cup holders for added convenience. The reinforced work surface can also be expanded in width by using integrated screw holes to mount 2×4 beams or plywood to form an onsite task worktop.
- TOUGHSYSTEM 2.0 DXL 30 in. Deep Drawer Unit (DWST08510): Offers a big storage volume of 11.62 gal/44 liters and ideal organization with detachable dividers and side metal racks for hanging power tools and accessories. The drawer opens smoothly on ball-bearing slides and locks securely with an automated quick-latch mechanism. The drawer has a total load capacity of 55 pounds / 25 kilograms, and an integrated metal bar locks tools inside with a padlock-eye.
- The TOUGHSYSTEM 2.0 DXL 30 in. 2-Drawer Unit (DWST08520) has the same design and functionality as its deep drawer predecessor, providing large scale storage with total load capacity of 55 lbs. / 25 kgs (27.5 lbs. / 12.5 kgs each drawer) and a volume of 9.04 gals / 34.3 liters. It also has an incorporated metal bar to keep tools secure.
- TOUGHSYSTEM 2.0 DXL 30 inch Dolly (DWST08530): The body structure is impact-resistant, and the huge, 6 in. heavy-duty caster wheels are designed to allow for unfettered movement over rough terrain and survive severe situations. The dolly can move weights weighing up to 440 pounds / 200 kg.
Each item is available separately or as part of the TOUGHSYSTEM 2.0 DXL 5-in-1 Tower (DWST60510) or TOUGHSYSTEM 2.0 DXL 4-in-1 Tower (DWST60520). The 4-in-1 Tower comprises one of each product, but the 5-in-1 Tower contains two 30″ Deep Drawer units.
DEWALT has also released many storage kits for use with TOUGHSYSTEM 2.0 DXL modules and the Metal Workshop Storage System, such as the Power Tool Storage Kit (DWST086501), Workshop Storage Kit (DWST086502), and Jobsite Storage Kit (DWST086503).
