GAF Energy, a Standard Industries company and the leading provider of solar roofing in North America, recently introduced Timberline Solar to bring the first true solar roof to market.
Timberline Solar mixes roofing materials to create a sustainable energy-generating system, resulting in a long-lasting, visually beautiful energy-generating roof.
The solar roof is now available to residents in the Greater San Jose area, including Sunnyvale, Campbell, Los Gatos, Saratoga, Cupertino, Mountain View, Morgan Hill, Gilroy, Santa Clara, Milpitas, Fremont, and Palo Alto.

GAF Energy’s manufacturing and development unit in California produces the product in the United States.
