The New Outdoor Project Hub from MoistureShield Makes Deck Design and Planning Easy

The MoistureShield Outdoor Project Hub, a new online tool that helps users create the perfect outdoor oasis, makes it easier than ever to bring a dream deck project to life!

MoistureShield, a division of Oldcastle APG, a CRH Company, today announced the launch of its Outdoor Project Hub, which will assist homeowners in designing and building deck projects by providing step-by-step planning and checklist features all accessible from a single dashboard.

“Sometimes, it can be overwhelming to start out with a blank slate,” said Molly Werner, Senior Brand Manager.

“The Outdoor Project Hub is the perfect online tool for helping MoistureShield customers seek inspirational design ideas, select the right products, and find a contractor who can turn their dream deck into a reality.”

She also mentioned that the tool is compatible with both computers and mobile devices, allowing for planning to be done at home or on the go.

Beginning with a few simple questions to assess the project, the Outdoor Project Hub walks the homeowner through the entire planning process, complete with inspirational custom mood boards and curated MoistureShield collections.

The featured collections, which include Vision, Meridian, Elevate, and Vantage, are available in a variety of colors and textures at prices that are affordable to almost any homeowner.

MoistureShield innovations include protective cap and surface technologies for a long-lasting, natural wood appearance that can withstand ground contact and water submersion.

Furthermore, these collections include the option of CoolDeck Technology, which provides a more comfortable deck experience by reducing heat absorption by up to 35% when compared to other composites in similar colors.

When a user selects a MoistureShield product, the Outdoor Project Hub employs a checklist to ensure that the deck size, budget, timing, and desired amenities are all met. To begin construction, search MoistureShield’s “Find a Contractor” database and share the project as a PDF.

MoistureShield capped composite decking, made with 95 percent recycled content, has been field-tested for 30 years with zero structural failures and is backed by a 50-year transferrable structural warranty for all decking series.
