Marxent 3D Cloud Announces Instant, One-Click Kitchen Design

Marxent’s 3D Cloud, the leader in 3D e-commerce for furniture and home improvement, has announced the release of a game-changing new kitchen design automation feature for enterprise home improvement retailers.

Styles from inspirational kitchen photos can be applied directly to a custom floorplan, then swiping through a full range of possible layouts in seconds.

Exclusive to enterprise 3D Kitchen Designer subscribers is the all-new ‘Design from Photo’ instant, one-click design feature.

One-click kitchen design, an extension of the 3D Cloud by Marxent ‘Design from Photo’ patent, allows professional designers to focus on upsells and customer consultations.

DIYers can select a photo they like, then apply styles and layouts to achieve professional results in seconds.

Shoppers can then browse through all of the possible combinations. Designers and do-it-yourselfers can spend less time placing cabinets and more time on details like finishes, upgrades, and drawer options.

“Kitchen design hasn’t changed much over the past 20 years. It is still a time-consuming process that can take several in-person design sessions and go on for weeks,”  explains Beck Besecker, 3D Cloud by Marxent’s CEO and Co-Founder.

“It’s a slow, manual process that can leave both designers and their clients frustrated.”

“After watching both kitchen design pros and consumers struggle through the painstaking process of laying out cabinets, we tasked ourselves to make designing a kitchen as simple as applying an Instagram filter,” Besecker said.

“The new instant, one-click design feature delivers on this vision.”

    Here’s how it works:

    • Create a floor plan. Choose a template or create your own. Add windows, doors, and utilities as needed.
    • Select a style.  Browse the app for inspirational photos, select one, and press the auto-layout button.
    • Watch the magic happen. See how the photo’s styles, including wall and cabinet colors, are applied directly to the custom 3D floorplan.
    • Swipe through layout options. Test all possible layouts and choose the one that best suits your needs.
    • Finalize finishes. Change the styles, paint colors, tiling, flooring, and other elements until the kitchen is perfect.

“The team behind the ‘Design from Photo’ instant, one-click design feature has put several years of research and effort into solving this industry-wide problem,” says Besecker.

“It’s the disruption that the kitchen design industry has been waiting for.”
