HOVER Teams Up with Beacon Building Products to Improve Digital Material Ordering

Contractors may now place roofing material orders in minutes with one of the nation’s most renowned exterior building materials suppliers using HOVER’s Direct Ordering, saving time and resources.

HOVER, the technology company that transforms smartphone photos of any property into a digital twin with valuable 3D data, announced today that contractors will be able to digitally order roofing materials through a new partnership with Beacon, the nation’s largest publicly traded distributor of roofing materials and complementary building products.

Because of the arrangement, contractors can use Direct Ordering to place orders with Beacon from within the HOVER platform.

Direct Ordering determines material quantities, quickly generates material lists for roofing items and places the order with Beacon using precise dimensions determined by HOVER’s 3D model.

The automated ordering procedure takes into account a contractor’s individual price and installation preferences and offers a single, integrated digital experience, eliminating the need for manual entry or separate ordering.

“We’re excited to partner with HOVER to allow contractors to place orders directly through the platform,” said Jamie Samide, Beacon’s VP of Marketing.

“We’ve been supplying roofing contractors with the best materials on time for nearly a century.”

“The addition of HOVER’s accurate measurements that are instantly linked to the order is another service innovation that is assisting our customers in building more.”

“HOVER’s Direct Ordering is simple to use,” Tyler Schisler, Co-Owner of Shumaker Roofing, noted.

“We can confidently build out estimates in minutes using HOVER, providing transparency and calculating the number of materials required.”

“By streamlining ordering, I am able to move my projects forward more rapidly since I am able to receive the exact quantity of goods I require with convenience and ease.”

Delays in supply chains increased homeowner demand for roofing rehabilitation and repair, and the ongoing desire to minimize costs have all put pressure on exterior home renovation contractors in recent years.

Work may be completed more quickly by allowing contractors to calculate and order the exact quantities of roofing supplies they require directly from reputable vendors using HOVER’s Direct Ordering service.

Less time and material squandered results in greater savings and earning possibilities.

Since 2018, Beacon and HOVER have collaborated together to bring the market the ground-breaking digital solution Beacon 3D+.

HOVER Direct Ordering within Beacon Pro+ is the next milestone in the partnership, and both companies are excited to launch the joint service during the International Roofing Expo on February 1-3, 2022.

“Beacon is among the oldest and most established distributors in the building material space, and we’re excited to launch HOVER to their network of customers,” said A.J. Altman, HOVER’s creator, and CEO.

“The partnership between HOVER and Beacon is an exciting step toward servicing more contractors with less waste and more efficiency by digitizing material ordering.”
