Home Depot Rental has Established New ROF Locations in Houston and Nashville

    ROFs are designed to dispatch larger-class equipment to job sites efficiently from a centralized location. In Houston and Nashville, Home Depot Rental has opened rental operations facilities (ROF).

    According to Home Depot Rental, the ROFs are aimed at effectively sending larger-class equipment to job sites from a centralized location and have grown in importance as the needs of its professional clients have grown.

    “We’re pleased to announce that our ROFs in Houston and Nashville are now fully operational following the openings in the Greater New Orleans and Los Angeles markets in 2019 and 2020, respectively.”

    “We sought opportunities to serve more Pro customers in more ways and are delivering with an expanded ROF footprint in addition to over 1,200 rental store locations,” said Richard Porter, The Home Depot’s vice president of Rental, Repair, RLCs, and Services.

    As clients look for a wider range of heavier equipment for large-scale construction, The Home Depot Rental has stated that it is expanding available solutions across quantity, capacity, and scale at ROFs such as:

    • Delivery for improving the timeliness of large equipment delivery;
    • Repair and upkeep for consistent equipment maintenance to reduce breakdowns and lost time;
    • Inventory – Improving fleet efficiency through new equipment categories and product depth;
    • Increased product offerings by enhancing the retail experience with a variety of rental options;
    • Service for providing best-in-class customer service in accordance with The Home Depot’s standards.

    “We are getting insightful feedback from our Pro and DIY customers, as well as our associates, to expand our Rental solutions,” said Tim Dugan, The Home Depot’s senior director of Rental Operations. This has resulted in ROF positions.

    The Home Depot Rental division is expanding even further, with new ROF facilities set to open later this year in Atlanta and Dallas, as well as new rental centers focusing on general tools, trucks, trailers, and heavy equipment across the North American footprint.

    “Nearly 24 months of experience at the ROFs combined with The Home Depot’s 25 years of rental expertise enables us to better plan and execute at current and future locations to provide the best Rental and delivery experience for our customers.” Dugan continued.
