The world’s first certified asthma and allergy-friendly insulation are Owens Corning Pure Safety. It is high-performance insulation that contains up to 66% less dust, is mold and mildew resistant, is fire-rated to class A, and reduces noise by up to 50%.
The product has been certified as asthma and allergy-friendly by the Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America, and it is UL GreenGuard GOLD certified. Low VOC emissions certification.
Pure Safety has an R-value of 15, which will be increased to R-21, R-30, and R-38 in 2021.
The product is dust, mold, mildew, and fire-resistant, and it is designed to contribute to a safe and healthy indoor environment.
