DAP is commemorating 160 years of offering trustworthy, reliable, and long-lasting goods to professional contractors, remodelers, and do-it-yourselfers. They are a leader in the home improvement and construction supplies business. Since it started in 1865, DAP has always been at the cutting edge of new ideas, creating new standards in the industry with innovative products that open up new possibilities and strengthen its position as a trusted partner and leader.

Mark Heird, President of DAP Global Inc., said, “For 160 years, DAP has been at the forefront of home improvement, repair, and construction, always adapting to the changing needs of both professionals and DIYers.” “We’re excited about our future as well as our past, which includes many first-to-market breakthrough solutions. Our future is bright because of strong innovation and a strong pipeline of new products.”

Starting with the release of DAP On-The-Go: Seal, Repair, Bond and More, the brand will celebrate its anniversary all year long in 2025 by releasing additional features for both new and old goods. The new line has eight of the brand’s best-selling adhesives, caulks, sealants, and patch and repair solutions in sizes that are easy to use for everything from home tasks to job site touch-ups.

DAP On-The-Go products come in handy 1- to 3-fluid-ounce squeeze tubes that are perfect for quick fixes or last-minute touches. Starting in the spring of 2025, you will be able to buy the eight well-known legacy products online and in stores.

The following items will come in new, easier-to-use sizes:

  • ALEX PLUS All-Purpose Acrylic Latex Caulk: Is an all-purpose acrylic latex caulk with silicone that works well for a lot of different jobs inside and outside, like filling in gaps around window frames, crown molding, and baseboards. ALEX PLUS comes in a 2.8-fluid-ounce tube from Michaels and Target. It makes a seal that is strong, flexible, and waterproof.
  • 100% Silicone Kitchen & Bath Waterproof Sealant: Is a sealant made of 100% silicone that is perfect for use in kitchens and bathrooms. It makes a seal that lasts a long time, is flexible, and keeps water out. Mold and mildew can’t grow on cured sealant. Michaels and Target will sell the waterproof sealant in a 2.8-fluid-ounce tube.
  • 100% Silicone All Purpose Adhesive Sealant: This sealant is made of 100% silicone and makes a flexible, strong, and watertight seal. It keeps water and air out, which makes it great for fixing campers and tents, sealing aquariums, and fixing glass or most metal surfaces. You can acquire the all-purpose glue in a 2.8-fluid-ounce tube from Michaels and Target.
  • Ultra Clear Flexible All Purpose Waterproof Sealant: This is a clear, all-purpose sealer that stays clear once it dries. It gives a crystal-clear finish and is great for making seals that don’t show on glass, ceramics, and most clear plastics, whether they’re inside or outside. You can acquire Ultra Clear Flexible All Purpose Waterproof Sealant in a 2.8-fluid-ounce tube from Michaels and Target.
  • Kwik Seal Acrylic Latex Adhesive Caulk: Is a great choice for kitchens and bathrooms since it sticks well and seals well. It is made to make a seal that keeps water out of tubs, sinks, showers, and counters. Caulk that has dried is resistant to mold and mildew. You can get Kwik Seal Acrylic Latex Adhesive Caulk in a 2.8-fluid-ounce tube from Michaels and Target.
  • Extreme Stretch Elastomeric Sealant: This is a high-quality elastomeric sealant that can stretch more than 600% to keep the seal from breaking. It sticks really well to a lot of different surfaces, so it’s great for sealing windows, doors, trim, and siding. You can buy Extreme Stretch Elastomeric Sealant in a 2.8-fluid-ounce tube from Michaels and Target.
  • DryDex Nail Hole Filler: Is a spackling compound that has an indicator that changes color when the best dry time is reached. This makes sure that nail holes, cracks, and other small repairs are filled perfectly. You can get a 1-fluid-ounce tube of DryDex Nail Hole Filler from Dollar General and Target.
  • Heavy Duty Construction Adhesive: Is a strong and long-lasting glue that works on a number of materials, such as wood, metal, and concrete. It is great for heavy-duty jobs. You can get Heavy Duty Construction Adhesive in a 3-fluid-ounce tube on Amazon.

Megan Youngs, Director of Product Management, said, “These small options are made for speed and accuracy, making them perfect for quick touch-ups or small projects and repairs where larger products might not be practical.” “So, no matter what size or type of project you’re working on, DAP On-The-Go products will help you get professional-quality results. This includes sealing a bathroom, filling nail holes, or doing repairs around the house.”
