Architects Will Find Amerlux’s New Linear Lighting ‘Too Alluring to Ignore’

With market-leading performance, quality, and premium value, Amerlux, an award-winning design-and-manufacture lighting firm, has released a collection of architectural linear luminaires that guarantee to protect architects’ actual design parameters in any project.

The beautiful edge-to-edge lens and industry-best linear performance of the extruded-aluminum Carisma dazzle the competition, offering maximum lumens per watt without glare. The LED linear series is available in 2″ and 3″ aperture diameters and can be configured to the closest 1/8″ with several mounting options: surface, wall, recessed, and pendant with direct and direct/indirect distribution, making them an ideal match for any commercial, institutional, or retail project.

“Just when we thought LED linear lighting couldn’t get any better, it did,” Amerlux’s VP of Marketing, William Plageman, agreed. “Carisma was designed to protect architects’ true design intent regardless of application or scope, with quality engineering that surpasses the linear lighting competition in nearly every category—performance, aesthetics, quality and intrinsic premium value. Carisma is the complete package, one that architects will find too irresistible to ignore.”

Carisma’s installation method is likewise stunning—simple and nearly tool-free installation thanks to Amerlux’s unique catch-and-latch system. The device provides high-performance, completely lighted lensing with a hardware-free, snap-in slide-forward reflector for easy maintenance and to minimize light leaking between fixtures, which occurs when the lens shrinks and gaps appear between the union of two fixtures. Carisma’s overlapping lens cap also inhibits light leakage from the fixture’s ends.

Carisma, which is entirely made of extruded aluminum, always produces a clean and trustworthy look with precisely straight lighting lines that never bend or stray. This product line also includes a one-of-a-kind optical system with high-performance, full-lit lens surface illumination and efficiency that exceeds all DesignLights Consortium (DLC) standards.

Carisma has a variety of color temperatures (2700K, 3000K, 3500K, and 4000K) as well as an 80+ CRI in all models except the 2700K, which has a 90+ CRI. Dimming ranges from 0-10V (120V/277V) to 1%.
