Rhode Island Homeowners Can Now Use the Dibbs App to Find the Best Prices and Quality on Home Renovations

Dibbs is now available for download by homeowners after months of onboarding Rhode Island-based contractors and suppliers.

The construction bidding app provides homeowners with a cutting-edge marketplace to help them find local professionals for home renovations.

With a single post, homeowners can reach out to an entire network of local professionals, ensuring they get the best quality of work and the best price for the job.

Hundreds of Rhode Island tradesmen and suppliers are already active on the app, bidding on projects and creating posts.

On the app, homeowners can expect to find painters, general contractors, interior designers, plumbers, electricians, carpenters, flooring installers, roofing installers, pool installers, and other services.

Tools like Angi and Thumbtack, which appear to be similar to Dibbs, only serve as lead generators.

Once users have identified the professionals with whom they wish to collaborate, a number of steps must be completed.

This process is time-consuming, and users frequently do not receive what they require. This is where Dibbs stands out.

All actions and communication, including bidding, chat messaging, and payment, can be done through the app.

“I believe every homeowner has had the experience of calling a professional and scheduling a time for them to come look at the job that needs to be done. After sitting at home all day, the tradesman arrives and quotes you a price that is far out of your price range. Not only did you waste your time, but the tradesmen did as well. This common problem is addressed by the Dibbs app. Everything is done through the app, and you can even video chat if necessary.” CEO Luke Fleury agrees.

The company is excited to broaden its reach and share the app’s capabilities with homeowners.

“We are receiving a lot of positive feedback from current customers on the app – we believe opening it up to homeowners will increase user activity and make it easier, and faster for users to find what they are looking for – that is the ultimate goal, to take the friction out of the bidding.” Case Olszewski, COO, agrees.
