Lennar Presents Flex Generation Home Design in Four Inland Empire Communities

The Flex Gen floorplan, a derivative of the company’s popular Next Gen – The Home Within A Home floorplan, is now available in four communities throughout the Inland Empire from Lennar, the nation’s leading homebuilder.

The new Flex Gen home caters to the growing number of homebuyers who work or go to school from home.

The innovative Flex Gen includes all the elements of a traditional new home, with the addition of an attached suite with distinctive features that accommodate those running a home business, working remotely, or homeschooling.

It is available in several distinctive communities throughout the Inland Empire.

“Our Flex Gen floorplan is the first new home designed truly and specifically for remote workers,” said Mark Torres, Division President of Lennar Inland.

“Not only does it have notable features such as a private entry, extra storage, an open office or lobby area, and a private office space, but it also features our Drop Stop – a built-in feature that allows packages to be delivered or picked up securely and without personal assistance.”

The Flex Gen floorplan appeals to a variety of homebuyer demographics, including home-based small business owners, remote workers, and homeschoolers.

The Flex Gen suite has a private entrance into an open concept area with space for two desks, a sitting area, or a studio-style workspace.

It also has a small kitchenette, a powder room, a private office, built-in storage, and the Drop Stop for risk-free package delivery.

An interior, lockable door connects to the main house, allowing you to multitask between the two spaces as needed while also maintaining the privacy of a designated work location.

The Flex Gen design is available in a variety of floorplan styles, including as an alternative to a Next Gen multigenerational suite in select communities.

The Flex Gen and Next Gen suites are included in Lennar’s Superhome design, which is currently available in two locations: Westward at Remington Place in Menifee and Exploration at Shadow Rock in Jurupa Valley.

Next Gen was introduced by Lennar in 2011, and it is now one of the most popular home designs in the country.
