Orro Expands Its Product Offering with a New Lighting-Only Switch

The ‘Orro S’ Extends the Same Human-Centric Lighting to More Rooms and Projects at a Lower Cost.

The Orro S switch is the latest product from Orro, the company behind the Orro Smart Living System, intelligent, adaptive lighting, and home management system.

At $149 (MSRP), Orro S provides the same human-centric, autonomous lighting experience as the company’s flagship touchscreen and voice-enabled Orro One switch, but at a more accessible price for any lighting project budget.

Orro’s ground-breaking gadgets, which are a unified, smart living system in the form factor of a standard-sized light switch, open up new revenue opportunities for home builders and integrators by utilizing an easy-to-install, easy-to-sell format.

“With the addition of Orro S, we believe we have the most versatile, intelligent lighting and whole-home control system available, now for any home and budget,” Orro CEO Colin Billings said.

“Our company mission includes making homes more peaceful, happier, and healthier places to live and work, through lighting that’s in tune with our exact needs and natural rhythms.”

“With Orro S, we’re bringing this experience to more rooms and a wider range of projects.”

As a sensor-enabled, intelligent dimmer, the Orro S provides all of the human-centric advantages associated with the Orro ecosystem and experience.

The Orro S detects motion, sound, and light and responds with just the right amount of illumination as needed.

At the same time, the system learns and adjusts based on user behaviors and preferences, reducing lighting usage by up to 80%.

The Orro S may be used separately or in conjunction with the Orro One, making it an excellent choice for anyone who wants to benefit from Orro’s Smart Living System but does not require additional smart home control functions.

The Orro S, which is now in private beta, will be available for the spring/summer home construction season.

The product will be on show at the National Association of Home Builders’ upcoming International Builders Show in booth W5787.
