SRS Distribution Adds to Nine New Locations

SRS Distribution, a roofing, and building products distributor, has announced that it will continue to expand rapidly in 2021. The distributor of roofing and building materials has expanded into eight new states.

SRS has announced the opening of nine new greenfield locations, eight of which will be in its building products division and one in its Landscape Supply Division.

New building product locations include Athens and Tifton, Georgia; Pensacola, Florida; Portsmouth, New Hampshire; Kalamazoo, Michigan; Gulfport, Mississippi; Lakeville, Minnesota; and Lancaster, Pennsylvania.

All new locations offer a wide range of residential and commercial roofing products.

Heritage Landscape Supply Group, a division of SRS, has opened a new location in The Villages, Florida, carrying a full line of landscape products.

According to SRS, the opening of new branches in eight different states reflects the company’s ongoing commitment to expanding its footprint across the country.

With a well-balanced mix of “in-fill” markets and new MSA locations, SRS will be able to improve customer service with this latest group of greenfields.

According to the company, Greenfields will continue to play an important role in SRS’s goal of building the industry’s strongest national network of independent distributor brands.

“We are pleased to announce the opening of nine new greenfields across the Midwest, Southeast, and East coast,” said Dan Tinker, president and CEO of SRS Distribution.

Tinker also stated that SRS intends to open additional new locations in 2021.

SRS has over 440 locations in 45 states and is headquartered in McKinney, Texas. SRS has received investments from Leonard Green & Partners, L.P. and Berkshire Partners LLC.

“Thanks to the hard work of our branch expansion and operations teams, our ability to expand in strategic markets has never been stronger,” Tinker added.

SRS Distribution purchased Louis T. Ollesheimer & Son, Inc. (LTO), a distributor of commercial and residential roofing and related products with 12 locations in Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, and West Virginia, in February.
