Leviton Introduces GreenConnect – Simplified Wireless Lighting Controls

GreenConnect eliminates the need for sophisticated cabling, room controllers, hubs, apps, and factory commissioning.

Leviton has unveiled GreenConnect, their newest line of wireless lighting controls. GreenConnect provides a simple lighting control solution by integrating wireless control into almost any switching or dimming load. GreenConnect is compatible with a wide range of lamp fixtures and load control devices, making it a scalable and adaptable wireless solution for nearly any space’s control requirements. GreenConnect eliminates the need for sophisticated cabling, room controllers, hubs, apps, and factory commissioning.

“Designed with the design-build contractor and specifier in mind, GreenConnect provides a solution that is simple to design, install, and program,” said Tom Leonard, vice president and general manager of Leviton lighting & controls. “Installers can finish more projects with less wiring, simplified programming and reduced time on jobsites.”

GreenConnect makes use of push-to-pair (P2P) technology to streamline lighting control design, installation, and programming. The technology includes a scalable platform that allows users to start small and grow as needed to create a more cohesive and efficient system. Users can start with a simple wireless dimmer or switch and expand with wireless load controllers, occupancy sensors, and controlled receptacles to improve building and operational intelligence. GreenConnect can also be utilized to meet the lighting control code requirements of IECC, ASHRAE 90.1, and 2025 California Title 24, Part 6.

GreenConnect has a reliable 2.4GHz wireless mesh network. The system consists of wireless load controllers and wall stations for switching, 0-10V, and forward phase dimming. GreenConnect also provides wireless battery-powered switches and dimmers for wire-free and multi-location control, wirelessly controlled receptacles with downstream control, and wirelessly powered PIR sensors with integrated photocells.

A GreenMAX DRC Wireless Keypad Room Controller can be added to provide a full array of advanced functions including as scheduling, scenes, color tuning, multi-zone occupancy/vacancy sensing, and daylighting.
