SNGULAR Launches ConnectedWorks, a New Business Line to Revolutionize Construction Management Following Collaboration with Ferrovial

Sngular ConnectedWorks provides a platform that provides real-time updated information to identify bottlenecks, incidents, or idle machinery, allowing for an effective response to reduce downtime and optimize equipment use.

Sngular, a technology company, has created Sngular ConnectedWorks, a new company that drives linked construction through production optimization for construction organizations. Its purpose is to assist businesses in increasing productivity, efficiency, and operational improvements in their projects.

With an initial investment of more than $6.5 million that will be increased over the next three years, Sngular ConnectedWorks provides a platform that provides real-time updated information to identify bottlenecks, incidents, or idle machinery, allowing for an effective response to reduce downtime and optimize equipment use.

The solution proposed by ConnectedWorks is the product of close collaboration between Sngular and Ferrovial, a global infrastructure leader. This strategic relationship has enabled Sngular to combine its technology skills with Ferrovial’s extensive knowledge of the industry’s requirements and challenges.

This project is built around a powerful algorithm that extracts information from the whole production cycle. The technology uses modern data processing tools, including artificial intelligence, to provide this information through an intuitive online application, allowing site managers to monitor vehicle performance in real time and identify future accidents or bottlenecks. This reduces the need for manual tracking activities and serves as a proactive decision-making tool.

ConnectedWorks offers rapid and easy installation and configuration, enabling firms to optimize operations within hours. The platform has already been applied in over a dozen large-scale building projects, including road and railway development.

Sustainability is an essential component of ConnectedWorks. The platform not only optimizes operations, resulting in significant reductions in CO2 emissions, but it also includes features for monitoring material unloading and limiting truck speed, which contribute to environmental protection and regulatory compliance.

According to Javier Vaca de Osma, Director of Technology and Processes at Ferrovial’s construction unit, the ConnectedWorks solution has significantly improved machinery management, resulting in higher production and lower operating costs. “The real-time information and the ability to identify bottlenecks have given us a key competitive advantage” . According to Javier Lázaro, Director of the Digital Hub at Ferrovial, “ConnectedWorks provides incredible accuracy, which is surprising given that it requires no installation effort.”

Borja Roig, CEO of Sngular ConnectedWorks, heads the new company, which, after several years of development in conjunction with Ferrovial, already has clients and traction in countries including the United States, the United Kingdom, Spain and Chile. “We have been developing the platform on-site for some time, and client feedback, combined with the unique features of our product, has led us to establish Sngular ConnectedWorks, a company focused on innovation and sustainability in the construction sector. We are confident in extending this invention to other industries and new use cases in the near future.
