Tarkett Introduces Non-Pvc Resilient Flooring Series with Superior Durability

Collective Pursuit is a high-performance solution that compares to luxury vinyl tile in terms of dimensional stability, impact resistance, and simplicity of maintenance.

Tarkett, a global flooring producer, has released a non-PVC plank and tile flooring collection, demonstrating the company’s comprehensive approach to assisting companies in meeting their sustainability goals. Collective Pursuit is a high-performance solution that compares to luxury vinyl tile in terms of dimensional stability, impact resistance, and simplicity of maintenance. Tarkett North America has released their first collection of this kind.

“At Tarkett, we have listened to market expectations and innovated to provide solutions that both perform and inspire. That is our shared mission, and this is our Collective Pursuit,” stated Paul Young, Tarkett Contract’s senior vice president of market segments, product, innovation, design, and sustainability. “Testing has proven that Collective Pursuit will perform as well as traditional LVT, making it an ideal resilient solution for customers who are committed to non-PVC materials.”

Collective Pursuit is a collection of ten wood and stone images with nature-inspired motifs that enhance a sense of well-being in locations where people work, heal, learn, and live.

  • Kyoto Stone SKS, available in 12″ x 24″ planks, comes in two colors and features subtle textures that promote balance and harmony.
  • Monteverde Oak SMV, available in 7.2″ x 48″ planks, comes in two clean-grained oak tones that create a peaceful link to nature while also celebrating the natural wonder of mountain forests.
  • North Island Oak SNI, available in 7.2″ x 48″ planks, captures the innate beauty of wood in three natural tones, each with flowing grains and realistic effects that appear to have been sourced directly from nature.
  • Umbria Oak SBK, available in 7.2″ x 48″ planks, features three rich wood tones that evoke picturesque Umbrian landscapes.

“Joy is the international language. “It’s conveyed through our expressions and our step,” said Omoleye Simmons, vice president of design at Tarkett Contract. “When you walk on Collective Pursuit, you’re transported to those places on Earth that universally translate beauty to joy, serenity to sensibility, and nature to harmony.”

Collective Pursuit, like all Tarkett North America flooring, is LBC Red List free and free of orthophthalates, adding to Tarkett’s holistic approach to sustainability. The collection is also part of Tarkett’s ReStart program, which recycles and returns flooring.

The collection is compatible with Tarkett’s Brilliance Digital Color System, providing designers with access to the entire Tarkett Solution SPECtrum from any location. Designers can use the digital tool to store favored surfaces to project boards, see them in different settings, and request samples. The tool reduces sample waste and shipping by ensuring the correct color match every time, allowing us all to design more ethically and lower our carbon footprints.
