The Bosch Power Tools 5-inch high-powered, high-torque specialized tuckpointing grinder with dust shield has been updated.
The GWS13-52TG is meant to be a replacement for the 1775E.
This innovative high-torque grinder with a dust guard was created specifically for tuckpointing.
It improves on the previous generation’s power by going from an 8.5-amp motor to a 13-amp motor capable of producing 9,300 RPM.
The GWS13-52TG is designed for high performance and long life, with a metal guard mounting flange collar, dust protection with directed airflow, and an enclosed spring-loaded guard for optimal dust capture.
Tuckpointers can use the new type to remove brick mortar.
Features:
- Epoxy-coated field windings protect the motor from dust and debris, and four-stage dust seals protect the gears and help ensure longer tool life.
- Continuous electronic monitoring ensures level operation and consistent speed under load.
- The cutting line is easily visible thanks to a viewing window on the dust guard.
- The 1-3/8 inch dust port is intended for use with Bosch vacuum hose nozzles, but adapters (sold separately) are available to accommodate other vacuum hose nozzles.
- Works in conjunction with Bosch PRO+GUARD Dust Solutions, an end-to-end dust-collection system that assists users in meeting OSHA silica dust compliance.
- The tool-free guard adjustment provides complete access to the diamond blade for quick and easy blade changes.
- The specially designed, spring-loaded guard captures as much dust as possible during mortar or concrete cutting applications, including plunge cuts.
