Phyn has expanded its smart water protection lineup with Phyn Protect, Phyn Assist, and the Phyn Protect XL Series, unveiled at InsureTech Connect (ITC) in Las Vegas to help homes and properties prevent water damage.
Phyn Protect succeeds Phyn Plus as the company’s flagship whole-home water monitor. It keeps high-definition pressure and ultrasonic flow sensing and automatic shutoff, and adds a new enclosure, a lighter colorway, and design refinements for quality and durability.
Phyn Assist, formerly the Smart Water Assistant, connects to the washing machine’s cold water supply line for DIY installation. It offers whole-home monitoring without automatic shutoff. Using HD pressure sensing and AI trained on more than 4 billion water events, it can spot anything from a running toilet or dripping faucet to a pinhole leak or burst pipe.
For bigger buildings, the Phyn Protect XL 1.5 and XL 2 handle supply lines up to 2 inches in larger homes, multi-family buildings, and commercial properties.
Phyn now powers all three tiers of Asurion’s LeakProtect program. The company also launched the Phyn Partner Advantage Program to help insurance agencies, brokers, and carriers deploy water loss prevention.
